Parents and students for Lowell
16 nov 2017
While the city council voted in June to build a new school, the project has stalled and is going to cost the city more money with each passing day. The school committee and a group called "save Lowell high" has thrown roadblocks into the project by spreading mistruths and using their connections and deep pockets to sway the citizens of Lowell to join in their fight. This should not be allowed to affect our legal city council vote. Let's get the kids a new, safe, state of the art school right now. We won't have this opportunity again if the Belvidere neighborhood has its way. If Westport can do it, so can we!
