I am pleased to report we are nearly to 1,000 signatures, and growing.
The plight of Nigeria's Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) is a vital issue that has been covered up and lied about by the powers-that-be for too long. This issue strikes at the very heart of the issues holding Nigeria back from true greatness, and I am confident it can be turned around. It will take continual effort on our part to raise awareness, and bring needed change. THANK YOU for signing the petition!
We have begun collecting IDP testimonials and sharing them through our youtube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@My.Voice.Matters. I encourage you to take the time to hear these powerful, first-hand accounts provided by these brave women. Please pray for them, and share the ones that touch your heart. Tragically, there are millions more just like them. They deserve justice!
On Feb. 8th, the US House Foreign Affairs Committee passed a resolution demanding the US State Department put Nigeria back on the official "Religious Persecution Watchlist." This is progress! Incomprehensibly, it was a divided vote along party lines. Let's thank God for the courageous congressmen who passed this resolution.
I am encouraged by the truth that, in reality, there is no such thing as darkness. It is merely the absence of light! When we stand up together and boldly share the light of truth, the darkness will disappear.
