Dear Petition Signers,
As you know from our previous updates, the NTIA recently announced that it would allow Verisign to pursue increased .COM registry fees. You'll find more information in this CircleID article.
The final decision, however, lies with ICANN, which is why we have now directed our petition at Göran Marby, ICANN President and CEO and have updated the body of the petition itself to reflect the recent developments.
