Thank you for helping us reach 2,500 signatures.
Now help us get to 5,000.
Supt. Carvalho has been going on TV and talking to politicians and shall we say, not tell the whole truth. The Sup promised to reach our goal of a 30% raise over three years. But that is NOT what he presented in bargaining. Not only did he NOT offer the 30% the district's offer is over four years, not three.
A 30% raise over three years is what we are demanding. That raise would take LAUSD workers from averaging $25k a year to closer to a living wage. That is why we are also asking for a $2 equity adjustment since we have not had a raise since we agreed to extend our contract during the pandemic. We have not had a raise in almost four years!
