Currently, students at the University of Texas - Austin get off on a Wednesday for Thanksgiving break. I believe that students should get the whole week off. As college students, we do not get much time off and I think adding two more days to Thanksgiving break could give college students some much-needed rest and relaxation, especially with final exams following very soon after. Also, as an out-of-state student, I don't get to see my family as often as I would like so it would be nice to spend some more time with them. For out-of-state students, two days of our Thanksgiving break are taken up by traveling, so with these added days, we could enjoy much more time at home. I think adding these two days to Thanksgiving break would benefit everyone involved.
