It’s morning again in Arkansas.  Today the 2019 football season mercifully came to a close.  Very short-handed, the team seemed to have more fight in them today at War Memorial Stadium.  But that is neither here nor there.

Where do we go from here?  Who will AD Hunter Yurachek, Jon Fagg, and the board of trustees set their sights on?  Why would we ever want to return to where we were over 7 years ago?

When we swept Texas A&M three years in a row.  (We have lost to them 8 times since)

When the Razorbacks abused teams like Auburn and LSU, and regularly went toe to toe with Alabama and Florida.  (With a win against #1 Florida being stolen from us, and SEC referees suspended)

When our in-state Arkansas football talent was cherished and developed, not shunned.

When the Razorbacks were prouder and stronger.

When we struck fear in our opponents’ hearts.

Coach Bobby Petrino is a fighter.  He gets Arkansas.  And he wants to fight for us.  Do we really want to roll the dice on more mediocrity, with coaches that are unproven in the SEC, trendy hires that make a splash with the media that already discounts us on a regular basis?

No.  We want discipline, strength, and resolve.  We need Coach Bobby Petrino.
