Things are starting to move fast. Following a brutal 54-24 loss to Mississippi State at homecoming, the media are starting to catch up with the fans regarding the poor performance of Chad Morris. Yesterday on his show, Paul Finebaum said, “It seems to me Chad Morris is going to get fired.” Talking about replacing Chad Morris, local Fayetteville media analyst Josh Bertacelli said, “You have to believe behind closed doors things are moving along more than we’re hearing.” The attendance at last Saturday’s game was estimated at around 35,000 (that’s less than half of it’s 76,000 capacity). There are a lot of people saying Chad Morris may get fired following a loss to Western Kentucky this weekend.
SO… where do we go from here? If Hunter Yurachek is as competent as we all hope he is, he is going to try and move fast with a new hire, like Florida State is trying to do with Bob Stoops. We say it is time to let the Board of Directors of the Razorback Foundation know we want Bobby Petrino back. They control a lot of the pursestrings. We have listed most of their E-mails below. Please shoot them a nice, polite E-mail, and let them know you want Coach Bobby Petrino back!
A couple of quick talking points you can use if you want:
• Bobby Petrino has a record of 34-17 (17-15 SEC) at Arkansas
• If you compare Petrino’s winning percentage against active college coaches, he is ranked #8. (.680 win percentage) That’s well above Dan Mullen, Mike Gundy, and others. (Chad Morris has a .310 win percentage, and just .190 at Arkansas)
• Chad Morris has only three in-state recruits committed this cycle that are in the Top 30 Arkansas recruits. Bobby Petrino can build a wall around Arkansas and help return us to greatness!
