The fact that the vote was unanimous is scary all by itself. It means that Denver's wildlife doesn't have a single ally on the City Council. So now we have some dangerous nepotism in the City of Denver as well, since Stacie's husband, Scott, is the one who authorized the slaughter of Canada Geese in Denver Parks both this year and last. The pipeline from the Mayor's office to the City Council to Parks & Rec is complete. If there's any doubt about the relationship between the Mayor and the now City Council President, take a gander. No pun intended. We are going to have to work twice as hard to put an end to this once and for all. 

Petitions are only one tool in the toolbox and the Mayor completely ignored last year's petition calling for the termination of Scott Gilmore's employment with the City despite garnering nearly 6,000 signatures. That petition was hand-delivered to the Mayor's office with TV media in tow. Nonetheless, please sign and share this petition as often as you can. We *WILL* win it for the geese.
