On 3 November, a member of Iran's paramilitary group the Basij militia was found dead with authorities subsequently accusing two protestors Mohammad Mahdi Karami and Seyed Mohammad Hosseini of having committed the murder.

As a result, both men had been sentenced to death, a ruling which was upheld by Iran's Supreme Court on 3 January. On Saturday, it was confirmed that both #Karimi and #Hosseini had been hung.

Both had no access to lawyers, they both denied the accusations and they have been tortured in jail to accept the accusation.
