Hull councillors refuse to rule out filling Beverley Gate

Councillors in Hull have refused to rule out filling in the historic remnants of the former city walls known as the Beverley Gate. They were asked to scrap the plans at a meeting earlier following a petition signed by more than 2,500 people - but they voted against that - opting instead to keep all options open.
