

As some of you are aware, a lot of Australia is experiencing La Nina and this has been the cause for torrential rainfall across the whole of the country and subsequently major flooding. The Barwon Electorate, consisting of Bourke Shire, Brewarrina Shire, Narrabri Shire, Walgett Shire, Warrumbungle Shire, Coonamble Shire, Gilgandra Shire, Warren Shire, Bogan Shire, Lachlan Shire, Cobar Shire, Central Darling Shire and the City of Broken Hill, is currently experiencing major flooding, affecting numerous landholders and residents. It also means the risk of Hudson Pear spreading through our waterways is undoubtedly occurring. Urgent action is need from the Agricultural Minister and Liberal Government to ensure the spread is stopped.
