A sincere thank you everyone that has supported us so far. We have reached 257 signatures and another 100 from Facebook comments.
We are in the process of gathering letters of support from local land holders, as well as members of the public. These letters of support, as well as this Change.org petition will be presented to Parliament, with the assistance of our local member, Roy Butler.
In addition to the current spread of Hudson Pear, Far West NSW river systems are experiencing higher than average water flows. This in turn is threatening Narran Lakes, a Ramsar site, which is currently at capacity.
Please share this petition, far and wide, to highlight the need for urgent action from the agriculture minister Dugald Saunders and the NSW State Government.
