HTHS won't replace all the yearbooks or the page with the hate symbol, only those ordered by individual grads, leaving hundreds of yearbooks with a Nazi hate symbol in circulation.

HTHS won't provide detail on what was changed, or if other senior quotes were changed without that student being notified.

Exchanges must be picked up, leaving grads who moved to college stuck.

And students who already collected signatures in their yearbooks are also out of luck.

All this after three months.

Dear Parents/Guardians and Class of 2020:

The High Tech High School Yearbook Committee appointed to review and revise the current Class of 2020 HTHS Student Yearbook has completed its editing. Thank you for sharing your suggestions, recommendations, concerns and creative energy in keeping the integrity of the student yearbook committee. We thank you for your patience as we have carefully supported the process.

Our district will incur the total cost of the updated version. Students are welcome to exchange the original for a replacement. You will need to return the original book, and then receive the edited version at no additional cost.
