The Issue

Andrew Jackson was a homicidal maniac who not only was a slave master but also disavowed treaties and is famous for causing the Trail of Tears, where thousands of Native Americans were ripped from their homes and displaced or killed. He also was against the whole money system in favor of gold. Harriet Tubman was a a selfless warrior and hero who fought for her people's liberty.  Having them on the same bill would be offensive to Harriet Tubman's memory. It would be insulting to put a freedom fighter on the same bill as a slave master. Harriet Tubman should be on the front of the $20 bill, but the other victims of Andrew Jackson's reign of terror should be on the back, Native Americans. For example, leaders of the five Nations at the time they were displaced by Jackson.
