Hemming is once again at risk of not being considered as an Olympic discipline. As humankind can remember, hemming has proven itself to be an exiting and competitive sport that requires great athticism, intellect, and reflexes. 

It’s time that we, as professional athletes, begin to receive recognition for our skilled art so that it may continue to grow, improve, and give back to our society. 

Without hemming, we would fail to produce clothing to cover ourselves and our children, but without competitive hemming in the olympics, we would fail to showcase the love, passion, and care that each one of us hemmers put on the line each and every day of our lives.
