The issue

56 billion farmed animals of all species are killed each year for our pleasure. Beaten, tortured, killed. I am a thirteen-year-old animal activist. Many people don’t believe me but i stand for animals, and I'm proud of it. Why do we do this to these poor animals? Why? Why can’t we just take a stand for the species that can’t take a stand for themselves? These animals, these creatures, they don’t have a voice to take a stand, they can’t help themselves, they know what’s happening, they feel pain it’s not like they are senseless, brainless they can see their mates being killed, they have sight. They can hear the cries, the screams of other animals when they are being killed, they have the ability to hear. They feel pain, they are not numb to feeling. Animals have a life, don't they? Basically yes, but technically they don't. being held in either a cage or small farm, being restricted their whole short life to be killed is not a life, is it? It's like if we were to be held in our house our whole life, yes you are living, but you are not living life, are you? No. Animals being beaten is not cool nor funny, is it? Image you being on the side of the road, homeless and then a group of people just start beating you, over and over until either death or internal bleeding, fractures or broken bones. Would you find it okay? Would you? Honestly, stop trying to stick up for yourself, your beliefs, stop trying to make excuses as to why this behaviour is okay. I understand how animals are meant to die for the food chain or whatever, but they aren’t supposed to be beaten and tortured, this is not humane, this is not natural, this is not what the food chain is. Animals deserve to have rights, animals deserve to LIVE, they deserve a LIFE, stand up for animals, take action.
