Plans are being made for a tourist theme park around the sacred mountain Montsegur and its castle ruines. The last Cathar stronghold  in Southern France.

Artificial light during the night and CCTV cameras will be installed which will kill natures night animals. The surroundings of the castle being sprayed by pesticides and trees being cut. Gates at the bottom of the trail will not allow any access to the top except with government guides. People believing in the spiritual essence of the mountain are going to be blocked to access the castle in the after hours. A tourist welcome centre planned on the land  what ones was used to burn 250  True Christians. People ,opposing the plan, in the village are evicted from their homes while the full scale construction plans are not made public.

This petition is to have access to the approved plans and to protect the natural habitation of the mountain as well as the freedom of the people to practice any religious doctrine or celebrate cultural historical  events.
