D.O.L Finds Sheriff Farber violated Public Employee Safety Act

The Dept. of Labor cited Sheriff Christopher Farber for failing to provide bullet proof vests to employees who are in the public and transporting prisoners. The Sheriff was also cited for failing to replace expired bullet proof vests upon their expiration. At least 17 officers were put in grave risk of death or serious injury by Sheriff Farber's actions. Sheriff Farber violated his own departmental policy by failing to provide adequate protection for the men and women under his employ.
