Make the UK have a zero suffering policy to all animals!! Close the gaps in animal cruelty

The Issue

The UK has a lot of laws regulating animal welfare especially regarding pet welfare, However there are still some gaps and improvement needed. The first being CCTV cameras should be made mandatory in any profession dealing with the slaughtering of animals including those who believe it is part of religion or culture. Anyone found abusing  animals or killing them in a inhumane way should be prosecuted. Regular checks should be considered to review the cameras and methods of slaughtering.

A zero suffering policy to all animals should be made mandatory this includes the testing on animals. As some of you are aware Larger companies and businesses have become less inclined to trade with products tested on animals and are supporting alternative methods, which means the support for it being abolished in the UK has already started! Although I appreciate this law will always be  the hardest one to eliminate, I wish to include it in this petition as a way of showing support to other campaigns who have been battling this issue for years.

It is not  about the welfare towards animals, it is about the UK starting a movement towards a more peaceful and caring world. The UK already has progressed rapidly towards better treatment to animals that the gap opened to animal cruelty is so small it might as well be closed all together. Lets push towards being a even greater country and start flourishing into a more peaceful world. Be apart of this big change and force the government to take action.
