No Workaround?

I also noticed that they acknowledged the disappointment of One S users because of the news, and yet they don't provide any workaround. Because of issues with one type of One S, both variants are being abandoned. Wouldn't it make sense to at least try to please some customers, rather than completely alienate all One S users?
