So Durban has won the bid for the 22nd CWG in 2022. An excellent choice to give South Africa a chance to shine and show that sport can bring us together once more. I am pleased with the outcome of the Commonwealth Games Federation choosing this city to host the games. I hope that in the intervening time between now and the start of the 2022 CWG that archery will be made a core sport in the Commonwealth Games and if interest can be generated enough for the organisers of Durban to include an extra sport or two to their game's programme. I am about to become a student of the University of East Anglia and I will be joining their archery society and I intend to play for the university team. Apart from that I will also take the time to build my connections to get ahead in the world championships.
