CABE: Central Advisory Board of Education is India’s oldest (since British Raj) and highest advisory body to Central & State Governments in Education policy. It plays a key role in all aspects of education from Primary till Higher Education.

The board includes representatives from central & state governments, the legislatures, departments of school education & higher education, universities and autonomous institutions.In its last annual meeting held in 2018, http://pib.nic.in/newsite/mbErel.aspx?relid=175669,some of the resolutions passed by it are:

     1.      CABE shall rededicate itself to ensure “Equity”, “Accessibility”, “Quality”, “Accountability” and “Affordability”.

     2.      CABE will strive for bringing “Accountability of all stakeholders”.

The suggestions put forth in our petition aim to provide a stress free education system by ensuring equity, accessibility, quality, accountability and affordability.
