Open letter
To all of the CEO's of the football clubs in the Premier Leauge
I am writing to you today, to thank you, for your dedication and hard work to ensure your club is where it is today. Your commitment to your club, and your dedication and work to ensure. Your team, has everything prepared. Is a testiment to you, and your ambitions.
VAR was introduced four years ago. Ever since then, it's caused more errors, than it's been designed to reduce. All the media will do is quote false statistics. The statistics that I have, say, that errors have been increased dramatically. By a huge percentage. Some of the errors include, being an offside by a boot, which isn't scientifically possible, and is discrimination against people of different heights/boot sizes. The other errors include, Wolves being offside from a corner, which is not humanely, or possible. The other errors, include, lack of cohesion, hundreds of decisions going against clubs. Manchester City had a problem with Simon Hooper not giving them an advantage during that game to score that goal.
The fact is, the standard of officiating isn't as good as it should be. Or could be. The Premier Leauge is the elite leauge. It's one of the best divisions in the world. So, we can't then, have a system in place. That causes a disconnect, controversy, and argument between fans. Who just want to see a game of fluidity, and movement. Without all of the stoppages, and the ref talking excessively to the other officials through his ear peice.
What's going to happen, is that if VAR stays. It's going to cost revenue. It's going to cost money. Because football fans will stop watching the football. The ratings will go down, all of the media channels will lose their views. Football stadiums will be empty, because people won't be renewing their season tickets. So it's going to effect revenue, and this is a big thing really. Because we want football fans on our side. And if you have a system, that most fans want scrapped. Then eventually what's going to happen, is people lose interest in football. And they go and do other things, and spend their money on other sports outlets. Like betting on the horses, poker, or other recreation activities. Which may be good for Sky Sports. Yet won't be good for club CEO's. Besides, we don't know the fans will go to other sports activities. Some may just turn their hobbies to Eurovision, and Strictly Come Dancing. And will just lose interest in sport completely.
This lack of fluidity and breakdown in trust with the Premier Leauge, and all of the referees trying to convince you. And all of the people in favour of VAR trying to convince you to keep it. Are not seeing the facts properly, and the facts that I have. Are completely different, to how the mainstream media is portraying. The mainstream media, are notorious for quoting incorrect facts and statistics.
So I call on you, to think about all of the points Jeff Shi has raised, and all of the points I have raised. And consider voting against VAR. For the sake of the football community. Which at the moment, the amount of anger over the FA is increasing, and is getting to a stage. Where the facts are out there. The FA have been exposed for doing what they are doing. Don't buy into the false narrative they are there to help. They are not. They are causing a hinderence to the game, especially with VAR.
Yours Sincerely
Adam Woroniecki
