Every signature helps. Every single one, because it helps raise awareness, and this is what we need to do. This VAR farce has been going on for too long. The latest audio release, of the Wolves v Newcastle penalty incident. Highlighted, how Jarred Gillet. Actually say to Anthony Taylor, 'It's a penalty'.
I also disapprove of them being unprofessional. By calling Anthony Taylor. 'Tayls.' Maybe down the pub. Yet they have to be professional, and stop calling each other mate, and nicknames, and brag. Like Mike Dean was bragging. 'Oh Anthony Taylor is a mate.' Maybe they are mates. Yet when it comes to the job. That shouldn't have any influence whatsoever, they should be objective. I worked in security. Where the boss, he had his son working for him. He said to me. 'Look, if my son is out of line, I will treat him like any other employee.' That is how things should be. No favouritism. No more Mike Dean sagas, and that guy is a drama queen, and just loves the attention. He sees himself as a bit of a celebrity. Maybe he is. Yet the fact of the matter is. A good ref, handles decisions properly. Some times, you have to let the game flow, and not get involved too much. Some times, the refs, have to step in, and diffuse conflicts. Plus make correct decisions. Yet it's how they go about it, rather than, the decisions themselves also are sometimes wrong.
Mike Dean said. 'Oh, I thought Spurs should have had a pen'. I don't know which game this was against.' Whilst Mike Dean was in charge of VAR. Then he is boasting. 'Oh didn't want to send Anthony Taylor to the screen, because he's a mate, and he's had a tough game. And he's already been to the screen. So just wanted to save him the hassle. At the end of the game. He said he's quite happy to go to the screen. His big, bold, brave, and ugly enough to know...' That is just a quote of some of Mike Deans comical, laughable spiel, that comes out of his mouth. To call himself an official, and say that kind of stuff. Is awful, and he is a bad influence on the FA. He should never have reffed any games, or officiated any games. He used to celebrate goals, that he gave. Always liked being in the limelight.
There are plenty of competent refs in the FA. It's up to Howard Webb to select them. I would advise Mr Webb to break up this 'tea party' of a social group. VAR/Officials/Refs have in the PGMOL. Introduce new people, who are competent, get them trained up. Demote the incompetent officials. The list is endless. If I write a list, of all of the corrupt officials in the PGMOL. I would be here until Christmas. The list is endless. I am not happy. Gary Pownland isn't happy. And he's one of the nicest guys around. When are people going to come to terms with the fact that the FA have robbed clubs of points. Giving preferential treatment to Haaland, just because it's Man City, and they are the top club, and Haaland is the top player. He may be a good player Haaland. Yet he has to learn. Football is a contact sport. Contact is allowed in football. I think until he can accept the fact football is a contact sport. He will stop complaining. 'Oh I got a shove in the back.' You are allowed to use your upper body strength, it's not a foul to use your upper body strength. Within reason. Obviously there are exceptions. Yet, using your chest, against an opponent is fine. It's only when you start clattering into people, and using your studs, and high footed challenges. That it becomes a foul.
Maybe I would make a good ref one day. Maybe I would. Because I have common sense, something a lot of these officials don't have. Please share this petition with your friends. Every signature is getting closer to my goal, of getting Howard Webb to listen.
I am frustrated and angry with this system. It has completely destroyed football. It is ruining the integrity of the game. I want to work hard to make this stop. I am hoping people can chip in and help. Many thanks, and I am keeping the ball rolling. I am not going to give up just because I only have around 100 signatures. I am just getting warmed up, I am going to take this petition right to the top.
