Petition updateFighting for Justice - Families calling for a Statutory Public Inquiry into MH ServicesInquiry protects themselves from legal claims ….in whose interest?

We are being told that those investigating Essex Mental Health patient deaths and failures have just been granted “indemnity” over any issues arising from their work…

1. WHY?
2. In whose interest is this?
3. What have they done in order to need this assurance?
4. What are they being encouraged to do?
5. Is this in the interests of an independent inquiry?
6. Is this because of conflicts of interest already identified which are fatal to the independence of this inquiry?
7. Why has there been no explanation?
8. Is this standard practice?

We now have every reason to believe that this inquiry is a sham.

Why else would such an indemnity be given?

We invite those responsible and the British public to respond and give us their thoughts.

Many have died and continue to die.

This troubling inquiry ignores the need to save lives and expose gross shortcomings.  And yes, there must be consequences for those found to be implicated and those who do not investigate properly.

No inquiry run will serve Essex or the countries mental health system without the Statutory powers to compel witness under oath.
When will the government hear us?
