TOO MANY OF OUR COMMUNITY HAVE SUFFERED AND DIED. 

STAND WITH US TO CALL FOR THE 1st EVER  STATUTORY PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO ESSEX MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES.  (Inpatient and Community).

HELP US TELL NADINE DORRIES, MATT HANCOCK AND BORIS JOHNSON THAT WE ARE UNITED AND DETERMINED.

• We remember our dead and our broken and we DEMAND BETTER. 
• We walk parallel, and often the same paths….. we are alone no longer.
• We have experienced first hand that SEND and Mental Health services in the UK are substandard, and decades behind in terms of understanding and funding.  
• We know that “places of safety” are rarely safe.
• We have been shown by both the dismissive actions and words of the government, that those with SEND and Mental Illness are deemed not worthy of anything better.

Looked upon as solely a drain of resources. SEND children are ignored and neglected until their mental health deteriorates to a point where even they know they are not wanted or accepted in society anymore.

We have lost countless beautiful souls to Suicide and neglect. Decades before their time. Our hearts ❤️are ripped out, but we are not allowed to scream.

On World Autism week there are still countless families all over the country fighting to be understood. While others tasked with helping, instead wilfully plot their torment and demise. The forced removal of children to institutions where they suffer further …in the name of substandard treatment. Frightened and grieving children ripped from their families and locked up in isolation like criminals.

Others lie gravely ill, and untreated at home. Lost from the world and any services that are supposed to cushion them….suffering and deteriorating in open sight.

Young disabled souls so broken, and so confused and at high risk of joining the bleak statistics regarding Mental Health failures both nationally and in Essex where we demand a FULL STATUTORY PUBLIC INQUIRY into the failures of so called care. Failures that are repeated again, and again. 

The UK government is actively turning a blind eye to a culture of denial and fear established and entrenched by statutory agencies that come into contact with families and it is toxic. A culture of fear. Parents and and carers cannot speak up without being labelled and victimised.
Broken bodies, containing broken minds find their way into the adult mental health system after a childhood of being failed badly and openly by Children’s services.

Chances are not good….they have no hope and no future.

WHERE ARE THEIR HUMAN RIGHTS?

We united and raised 105,580 signatures with Melanie Leahy and #matthewscampaign FOR A FULL STATUTORY PUBLIC INQUIRY into Essex mental health services and you have offered us a non-statutory inquiry into a handful of deaths. We must go further, make history and force the kind of change that gives rise to equality and survival.  

The appetite exists in society right now for this to happen.

We stand together with the Mental Health Community proudly DEMANDING a FULL STATUTORY PUBLIC INQUIRY into Essex Mental Health Services that we may use it to save lives and prevent more deaths and tragedies that don’t need to ever happen.

And we INSIST ON TRUTH, JUSTICE, ACCOUNTABILITY AND CHANGE.
