To all, Our Public Comment session effort has been joined by William Wren, well known for his efforts on improving oil rig lighting in West Texas and the hill country to both improve oil rig safety and mitigate impact on the night sky. He has also been approached by the San Antonio City Council for a better option than their current bright white LED which they are finding is too high glare and has appointments there and in Austin this week. We are very pleased that he is making a special trip to Houston to help make our case to City Council. I am including some information about his efforts which show before and after the much improved lighting on the oil rigs.
