Recent studies suggest that lobsters are sentient with advanced nervous systems that may feel pain while being boiled alive. This is very in-humane practice that is allowed in culinary throughout Canada. There are many humane ways to prepare lobsters, boiling them alive should never be an option. 

Switzerland is introducing new law for the country and it details the way lobsters will be prepared in restaurants as of March 2018.

Canada is a role model country to other nations. I ask for your support to bring this petition to the Canadian House of Representatives and have them introduce a new law to put an immediate stop to this ongoing cruelty. 

I ask all my fellow Canadians for help in signing the petition and making this happen.
