I cannot begin to tell you the sadness this makes me feel for our community!! I want every single one of you to understand how important this issue is for our community and our Country as a whole! I want you to understand deeply the POWER you truly have!! When I began this journey with Heather MacDonald Ellis I never imagined the places it would take us and the people it would put us in contact with, now I'm not saying what we are doing is for everyone, but there is something for everyone in this struggle. I don't believe there is a family in this community who has not been affected by this struggle either! We need to help each other, we need to be strong together and we need to turn this thing around!! I truly believe we can and my experiences in these 12 weeks tells me I'm right. Every generation has a responsibility to the next generation to leave it better then it was!! Now it is our turn, our Grandparents and Parents worked hard to create a better tomorrow for us, now we owe it to our children to do the same!
