Today we want to thank the many, many thousands of you who have signed our petition. We are close to the 10,000 mark!

This petition update is titled "These truths shall be self-evident..." because we now know the depths of anti-democracy sentiment in this country.  It began with the lawsuit to throw out millions of votes, then there was the acquittal of Trump, then the continued promotion of what everyone is calling "the big lie" by those beholden to Trump.  During the hearing taking place on Capitol Hill we heard all of the law enforcement agencies agreeing that the attack on our seat of Democracy was a planned and orchestrated event.  We know where to lay the  blame--BUT NEITHER TRUMP NOR HIS CONGRESSIONAL FOLLOWERS ARE BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE.

Conscientious Congressmen and women are now declaring war on domestic terrorists. Perhaps that's because it's been exposed that some of the domestic terrorists are at the highest levels of our social structure--ex-military, state officials, policemen, firemen, teachers--people who were actually engaged in bashing through windows and doors of a national landmark, carrying rebel flags and Trump flags and desecrating Democracy.

But they did not do this on their own.  They were called.  And they STILL have the support of elected officials.

More than 120 members of Congress of the United States joined  the lawsuit to throw out millions of votes cast by citizens of the United States of America during the 2020 presidential election.  Too many of them chose to continue their fight against certifying the Electoral College votes.  And again, during the impeachment, too many chose Trump over the Constitution.  

These members of Congress were elected to uphold the Constitutional rights of citizens who reside in this country.  They refuse to do so with their continous pledges of allegiance to Donald Trump. These Cogressmen and women should not be seated as representatives in this country.  We demand the expulsion of these Seditionists.
