We are pleased to announce that after months of urging NYS and the Department of Health to include security officers we were able to receive the answer we were looking for. Sometime next week the NYS Healthcare Worker Bonus eligibility list will be updated to include all hospital security officers in NYS. We were able to bring our petition to countless politicians but particularly Assemblymember Michael Tannousis helped us right this wrong. He was able to connect us to the governor's office and this morning we received a phone call from the Department of Health that security officers will be included.
