For anyone following this story, a quick update. I had a meeting with the CEO a few weeks ago and presented my concerns (which you'd have expected to be quite apparent) as well as the support received.

They responded by saying "Our corporate lawyers have advised the Trust is not allowed to dispose of property with tenants in occupation. I would like to stress that at this point we do not intend to take legal action in relation to the possession of the property."

BUT then go on to say

"However, recognising the situation, we are going to extend the length of time available for your aunt to reside. We will review the position in 2022."

I am not sure if I'm expected to say thank you very much!

2022 is only 6 months away. How does this present a solution and how does this approach provide any additional clarification other than to  kick the can down the road. It merely creates further uncertainty probably (forgive me for my slight pessimism) in the hope the media interest and community support will subside or that my aunts health will deteriorate.
