All the signatures are working & we are making a difference but not quite there.. Blue Cross wants to negotiate.. they are saying ok we will allow the surgery (where they go in an remove any tumors they see) but we will not pay for them to put the heat treated (HIPEC) Chemo in you to kill all the cancer cells they dont see or cant remove because it is too dangerous... This is the part of the surgery that could save my life. If they do just the surgery and no chemo, sew me up, and in a month the hidden cancer cells will emerge an this time Fatal. So no negotiations.. we need the Life Saving Part of the Surgery.. they said i could have it if i cough up (could be up to $20,000) the money to pay for the heated chemo.. After 4 yrs of drs., hospitals, xrays, and etc my husband and i have already coughed up over $20,000.00 in deductibles, out of pocket expenses and etc. So we either keep fighting BC or stop the negotiations. I say keep the signatures going because if i have the surgery and no chemo next month i could be hearing from your wife, daughter, sister, or Mother who is now having it happen to her.. PLEASE KEEP sharing and re sharing and get the word out because each of us are making a DIFFERENCE.. If possible if you could donate to help us in case this isn't settled when the time comes for the surgery maybe we will have the money to pay for the Chemo part of it..
