It appears that the landlord of Stony Point Shopping Center (3036 Stony Point Rd, Richmond, VA 23235) is looking to replace the former Martins Grocery Store space with a Goodwill. For many years, the residents of Bon Air have supported a smaller full service grocer in the shopping center. It saddened many people that the store closed as it was not only convenient for the neighborhood but for people with mobility issues, such as myself, the ability to shop for groceries without assistance.  What Bon Air really needs a small full service grocery store in that space. 

How can you help?  Please consider signing this petition asking that they not lease to Goodwill Industries but consider a small full service grocer or food co-op to reside in that space.  Having such a retailer occupy the space would certainly be supported by the nearby residents.  You may also consider writing or contacting the managing broker at:
