Over the past 6 weeks I have contacted the Min.of Ed./Ministry several times as I would like to deliver this petition to the Minister. Unfortunately, I have not received any type of reply ay all,which indicates once again that the struggles Ontario children and their families have encountered over the past ten years are still considered irrelevant. At this time, I would strongly urge each one of you to email the Hon.Liz Sandals and let her know your concerns.Be as specific and firm as possible. State the toll this has taken on your child and family and let the Minister know the financial costs you have incurred. I would also suggest that you copy the email to me so that your email to the Minister is not simply lost within the Education ministry.IF POSSIBLE SEND YOUR EMAIL NOW. It is parents and concerned citizens who must take the initiative and state in no uncertain terms that our Ontario children continue to be severely hurt by constructivist math. Educational decision makers have no reason to alter the status quo. It is obvious that the Ministry has no intention of making the changes that would help our children and it is imperative that each of us email the Minister immediately and demand that our children be properly educated. I would ask each of you to commit to encouraging 2 more people to sign the petition. I have found that often the personal touch works well. Parents are seriously worried and are searching for an answer to this long standing problem. Let them know about the petition asap.
