Currently, their shelter is without heat, and while rabbits are able to cope with cold better than the heat, there are many challenges with our cold Calgary winters. Gizelle Becker is doing a wonderful job of looking after all 17 rabbits and when I was invited to visit, I was impressed with how well organized everything is. It is no small feat, trying to keep up with 17 pooping & peeing rabbits - ensuring they receive fresh water & food daily, and keeping their hay refreshed, clean and dry!

Needed (most to least important):
- Young rabbit pellets
- Alfalfa hay
- Adult rabbit pellets
- Toys
They go through 25-30 pounds of pellets each week and are constantly buying more to keep everyone's bellies full.
Other relevant donations include:
- Foam floor mats
- X pens, cages, and kennels of any size
- Used blankets/linens, mostly of large size
- Hay and rabbit pellets
- Rabbit safe toys that are still in decent condition. Hide boxes, tunnels, etc.
- Old bowls, storage bins, litter boxes
