Victory!

Although the judge didn't act on our petition (he actually told the media yesterday that he had not seen the petition) we were able to put much needed emphasis on animal cruelty. Annabelle owner surrendered ownership to te Austin Animal Center this morning and she is now available for adoption. That's to each of you who signed and shared our petition, we got the best possible outcome for Annabelle. Our work isn't over. We still have to be seen on Monday in support of her. Bullen is on the Travis County Criminal Court docket for 7/3/2017 at 9:30. He is charged with Cruelty to Non-livestock Animals which is a Class A Misdemeanor punishable by confinement in jail up to 1 year and fine up to $4,000. Location of court is the Blackwell-Thurman Criminal Justice Center.
