We have received nearly 7500 signatures on this petition since it was posted on Change.org three years ago. The petition was sent to Congress, the House of Representatives, and the President. But unfortunately, no response was received from any of those offices. 

If you've signed this petition or know someone who would support this award, it is imperative that you contact your representatives directly. Your personal email in support of this award would be the best way to communicate your endorsement.
