It was announced today that the uniforms for the 2025 game have been selected to commemorate another important chapter in Army history the 250 years of service for the Army itself.
While I respect and appreciate the decision to highlight that legacy, I remain hopeful that the Army National Guard—our nation’s oldest military component—will receive its due recognition in a future Army-Navy Game, especially at the game in 2036, that could also be played on December 13, when the Guard’s celebrates 400th birthday.
The Army National Guard’s contributions, both at home and abroad, are woven into the fabric of our military story.
From natural disaster response to combat deployments, from cadets who began their journey in the Guard to West Point graduates who return to serve in its ranks, the Army National Guard continues to exemplify the Army values of loyalty, duty, and selfless service.
This petition isn’t about one game—it’s about ensuring that the Army National Guard’s legacy is honored on one of the Army’s biggest stages. I'll keep this petition open and continue to gather support as we look ahead to future opportunities to celebrate the Army National Guard’s enduring role in our nation’s defense.
GO GUARD. GO ARMY. BEAT NAVY.
