Das Problem

As one of the most influential producers and engineers of the 1970s and 1980s, Mack’s work has profoundly shaped the sound of modern rock and popular music. His career spans collaborations with some of the most iconic bands and musicians in rock and pop history, including 10 artists already inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-

Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Deep Purple,Donna Summer, Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Rolling Stones,  T-Rex, and Eddie Van Halen.

And surely a few more that will be honored in the future (see the list below).

The Rock Halls Ahmet Ertegun Award recognises non‑performing music industry professionals whose extraordinary contributions have shaped rock & pop history, and there is no denying that Mack has done exactly that.

If you agree, and believe Mack deserves to be inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and stand along side his peers, please sign this petition.

About Mack: Through his work at the legendary Musicland Studios in Munich, Mack helped pioneer the arena-ready rock sound that bridged the 1970s into the modern era. His meticulous approach to production, vocal layering, and drum presence became hallmarks for countless acts who followed. He was nominated for a Grammy Award (Producer of the Year, Non-Classical) for Queen’s The Game and remains widely recognized by artists and engineers as a key architect of rock’s studio evolution. In Freddie Mercury’s own words „ Mack is a genius, an absolute genius.“
