Hi everyone. I have just exchanged the photo used for this petition for a video instead. I realise that it may seem counterintuitive to display the images that I/we are trying to have removed from public spaces as the advertisement for this petition. I also felt uncomfortable having such graphic content on my own feed. The reaction from people have shown just how offensive it is in general. Now that momentum is up and running, I have chosen a video with a much tamer presentation frame instead of the original shot. I have also become aware that complaints posted on Honey Birdette's FB page have been removed and the sources of the complaint have been blocked by Honey Birdette. Sooooo........lets keep the signatures coming! Although the original posters that inspired me to start this petition have been taken down, I feel it is very important to keep putting the pressure on Westfield shopping centres to reconsider leasing space to Honey Birdette or any other "business" that sexually objectify women. There is hope that Honey Birdette may gain a better understanding that making profit off degrading women is just not acceptable. Thank you for adding your voices.
