According to official OzTam ratings data, Melburnians have flocked back to Community Television, with an increase of 150,000 monthly viewers recorded since lockdown began.

More and more people are rediscovering #C31Melbourne, whether it be through our cultural and religious livestreams, our student journalism produced initiatives, our strong culturally and linguistically diverse community interest programs, the tried and true outdoor lifestyle shows or any number of niche interest presentations we broadcast.

The numbers don't lie - people are watching - right as Paul Fletcher intends to switch us off the airwaves for good.

The demand for local TV exists and we're asking the Minister to make the right call to renew Community TV's broadcast licences beyond June 30.
