Our Worst Nightmare!

OUR WORST NIGHTMARE! Have just established today, that on 5th June 2018, Parks submitted an application to Council for a full sized AFL oval on the top three fairways of the old Golf course. It has not yet been made public as Council has requested more details from them and so far has not received these details. Once received, they will be published publicly and there will be two weeks in which objections may be made to the Council! ( Note THE PLAN IS ONLY FOR THE OVAL.)The plan clearly involves major earthworks, tree removal etc. and takes in all three of the top fairways! Extra room has been allowed for the ball to be kicked out as well!I spoke with Katie Douglas, Planner at length today, giving her my view of the overall picture. She said she found it interesting and useful information! Very few are aware or have grasped the total picture. I requested that she pass it onto the other planners at the council.
