Farmers across Australia, but particularly in NSW, north west Victoria and eastern South Australia, are facing the worst drought on record.

Yet rather than subsidise our farmers our governments continuously props up the coal industry to the tune of billions of dollars every year. In fact, Market Forces estimates that tax-based fossil fuel subsidies amount to almost $11 billion per annum federally. 

We can easily change this simply by redirecting the coal subsidies and make them farmers subsidies. 

Coal provides profits to overseas companies. Our farmers provide food to the country. Tell Minister Littleproud you support our farmers rather than foreign -owned coal companies.
