I've been calling for a public inquiry into money laundering since December 2018, and am very pleased that the BC NDP provincial government is taking action on this important issue. THANK YOU to the 3,402 concerned British Columbians who signed my petition, which was delivered to the BC Legislature a few weeks ago. A special thank you to Andrew Weaver, MLA Oak Bay-Gordon Head and the BC Green Party for their support and tabling my petition in the Legislature. Also, thank you to the many journalists, groups, organizations, and community advocates that also came forward and worked so hard to bring this issue to the forefront of public discourse.
