"Most British Columbians want answers when it comes to organized crime, money laundering, and the overdose crisis, according to a new poll.

The survey, conducted by Research Co. for the BC Government and Service Employees’ Union, which has called on the B.C. government to conduct an inquiry, found 77 per cent of residents would support a public inquiry looking into money laundering and the associated crimes.

Even more, 80 per cent, said they would like to see an anti-corruption office in B.C. similar to one in Quebec, according to the poll.

A strong majority (84 per cent) said a public inquiry would be an important voting issue for them if a provincial election were called tomorrow." ~ Tiffany Crawford - Vancouver Sun
