The government and UNBC are in both responsible for the dishonest /discriminatory etc. treatment of the low and middle income people.
Many people have gotten trapped by their student debt and have had to leave without a degree because of being treated discriminatory/ dishonestly/abusive/unfairly etc. Those have negatively affected many low and middle income people/families in British Columbia/Canada. Not only they very dishonestly etc. put many people into the student debt but also in very dishonest/abusive/harassing/threatening etc. way(s) increasing the student debt. The provincial government has violated the rights for the low and middle income people/families that applying by all Canada regarding student loans/student debt/post-secondary education. These unjust etc. treatments greatly negatively have affected not only the person's post-secondary education but the entire life of that person and/or her/his/their family.
If UNBC or a post-secondary educational institution failed your course for which you took student loan(s), you cannot take second time student loan(s) to pay again for that course to retake it. In my case, UNBC not only discriminatory/harassing/abusing /fraudulently/threatening etc. failed my UNBC nursing practicum course in the mental health nursing after somebody misspelled one letter in my name into the hospital’s computer system, so I could not log in to the hospital’s mental health computer system, BUT also they forced/coerced me to go again into the UNBC mental health nursing theory course although I successfully already passed it. I could not get second time student loan(s) to pay again UNBC to retake that horribly unjustly/discriminatory etc. failed nursing practicum course by UNBC etc., but also I could not get a job due to that practicum course hours at the hospital and community setting, also forced/coerced to go again into the theory course at UNBC etc., being an English second language single mother immigrant needed to take care about my child and everything else etc. That UNBC forced/coerced etc. mental health nursing theory course was taught by that new UNBC instructor, Sarah Hanson who started all of those discrimination/ harassment etc. and she carried on those discrimination/humiliation etc. in that forced/coerced etc. theory course as well as in the retaken UNBC mental health practicum course although for retaken that practicum was assigned for me another UNBC instructor. We greatly suffered etc. in many ways. The tortures have done by UNBC etc. are horrible etc. For UNBC to make its profit/wealth, UNBC has failed many students and many UNBC students got unjustly failed by UNBC in more than in one UNBC course. Then you also have gotten ripped off by the government instead of defending and protecting your education/employment/health etc. rights.
The government in British Columbia/Canada AGAIN STOLE my money etc. contrary to their public claims for the low income people/families https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/news/2016/10/canada-student-loan-borrowers-additional-loan-repayment-relief.html .
