July 3, 2018 Lawyers were the only way by which UNBC's students could get at least some justice.
To my best knowledge, since 2011 UNBC has forbidden students from employing lawyers during the appeal process after one of many unjustly failed registered nurse students managed to hire a lawyer for her appeal at UNBC's Senate and that lawyer threatened Martha MacLeod etc. to lose their licenses. That registered nurse student graduated from UNBC.
During my studying at UNBC I was repeatedly brought to the staff room and discriminated, abused, humiliated, and threatened me there. Repeatedly harassing they were forcing me to sign their false documentation. Repeatedly I was also demanded in some UNBC's nursing courses to do double work load than required work for all other registered nurse students in order for them to fail me. Moreover, not on single event they wanted to force me to do illegal things during my registered nurse student practicum which could cause the patients' death, but due to my personal beliefs and my registered nurse professional conduct I refused to do them even if they again unjustly failed me.
After they unjustly failed me before my graduation, I was repeatedly told that they would fail me before I even submitted my documentation for the appeal of the failing grade and also told that I was not the only one UNBC student whom they have left without her / his degree at the end of UNBC program.
