For almost 40 years scientists, other experts and the community have been calling for the protection of Western Australia's Helena and Aurora Range (Bungalbin). This ancient range is one of the last intact 'banded ironstone' ranges and home to species found nowhere else.

However, this jewel in the Great Western Woodlands is under imminent threat from mining.

WA's Environment Protection Authority (EPA) recently released a report which states the proposed mining is "environmentally unacceptable" and the range should be protected.

It's now up to the WA government to do the right thing, back the expert advice and protect the range for future generations. Please act now for one of WA's most special places.
