"According to municipal officials, permissions from multiple authorities including the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA), Maritime Board, and Bombay High Court are pending. Additionally, modifications to the Development Plan (DP) are required, further complicating the approval process.

“We remain optimistic about securing the necessary permissions within the next two months. Initial work at the road level can commence while we await comprehensive approvals,” stated a municipal official familiar with the developments."
